Description
中文(简体):老君即老子,姓李名耳,是春秋时代思想家,道家的创始人,后被奉为道教天尊。这尊老子石雕像,系唐代华清宫朝元阁内遗物。老君正襟危坐,雍容恬静,在深思熟虑的仪态中,显得温厚肃穆,整个雕像端庄、恢宏。像下的束腰方台仿效佛像覆莲座,上部以番莲为饰,基座镌刻繁复的变形牡丹,造型精美、圆润,图案布局疏密适当,手法精工洗练,是唐代石刻中的珍品,属国宝级文物。
English: Portray of Laojun: Laojun, also called Laozi was the great thinker and founder of Taoism in the Spring and Autumn Period. This stone portray of Laozi was one of relics in Chaoyuan pavilion of Huaqing Palace in the Tang dynasty and was the rare treasure in stone sculptures of national level culture relics.
