Description
Deutsch: An der Drehscheibe im Bw Engelsdorf, die 185 203 ist die dritte TRAXX 2 der DB mit neuen Stirnfronten und verstärktem Rammschutz. Die Stirnwände sind im Lampenbereich nicht mehr nach innen eingezogen. Hinter der Frontklappe, die es in dieser Form bei den vorher gelieferten 145, 146.0, 146.1 und 185.0 nicht gibt, liegt die Klimaanlage.

Der »Railion«-Anstrich war wenig später schon wieder obsolet.
Links im Hintergrund stehen die Endmasten der beiden mit Fahrleitung überspannten Drehscheibengleise. Obwohl das Bw Lr seit den Sechzigern vorwiegend elektrische Lokomotiven beheimatet, wurde hier nie eine echte Fahrleitungsspinne eingerichtet.

Dass mehrsystemfähige Lokomotiven im Güterverkehr eine Selbstverständlichkeit werden würden, war noch fünf Jahre vorher kaum vorstellbar. Dass man für den Reiseverkehr auch fünfzehn Jahre danach noch Einsystemeinheiten beschafft, ist ein kaum verständlicher Anachronismus. Im Eisenbahnreiseverkehr sind die EU-Binnengrenzen noch immer deutlich zu bemerken, und das auch tariflich.
