Description
English: The pedestrian tunnel beneath the west end of the Bay Terrace Staten Island Railway station in the Bay Terrace section of Staten Island, New York City. The tunnel runs from the intersection with South Railroad Avenue and Bay Terrace (the street which was originally "Bay Terrace Avenue," not the neighborhood), which is near the location of this picture to a dead end section of Bay Terrace (Avenue) on the northwest side of the tracks, and has a staircase to the west end of the platform. I had to convince this commuter and/or local resident that I was trying to get a shot of the tunnel, just in case he thought I was taking a picture of him.
