Male Maratus Anomalus

Summary[edit]

Description
English: Male Maratus Anomalus, also known as unusual peacock spider (Karsch 1878) found on Moreton Island, Queensland, Australia. Unlike most Maratus males, males of Anomalus lack the specific flaps on the abdomen. The color of their abdomen varies from dark blue to purple and turquoise, depending on the viewing angle.
