Description: A typical flag sign hung on the fence of a residence. Many like it were hung by citizens throughout the country as a sign of pride and encouragement of the army for victory over Hamas and the return of the abductees to Israel.

תיאור: שלט דגל טיפוסי שנתלה על גדר בית מגורים.רבבות כמוהו נתלו על ידי אזרחים ברחבי הארץ לאות גאווה ועידוד הצבא לנצחון על החמאס והחזרת החטופים ארצה.
הערות: מתקפת הפתע על ישראל הייתה מתקפת טרור פלסטיני של חמאס והג'יהאד האסלאמי הפלסטיני מרצועת עזה על ישראל, במיוחד בעוטף עזה, שהחלה בבוקר יום שבת, 7 באוקטובר 2023. המתקפה כללה חדירה יבשתית (רגלית, אופנועים וטנדרים), אווירית וימית לשטח ישראל, מתקפות על בסיסי צה"ל ומוצביו וקרבות ירי עם כוחות הביטחון בד בבד עם חדירה אל תוך יישובים. במהלכה בוצעו מעשי טבח ורצח אזרחים ישראלים – שכללו גם עינויים, מעשי התעללות ואונס – ובהם טבח במסיבת טבע ליד קיבוץ רעים שהיה לפיגוע הטרור הגדול בתולדות ישראל.(ויקיפדיה)
