Summary[edit]

Description U.S. Sailors assigned to Maritime Civil Affairs and Security Training Command (MCAST) pull a simulated casualty to cover during a Navy Expeditionary Combat Command integrated exercise in San Diego, Calif., April 23, 2010. The training exercise is designed to provide realistic combat training in preparation for upcoming deployments. Sailors assigned to MCAST deploy globally to establish and enhance relations between military forces, governmental and nongovernmental organizations and the civilian populace for Navy components or joint task force commanders.
