Description: Hagat Garden is an archaeological site from the Hellenistic period located in the north of Tel Aviv.

שם: תל אביב - גן הגת
תיאור: גן הגת הוא אתר ארכאולוגי מהתקופה ההלניסטית הנמצא בצפונה של תל אביב.
הערות: האתר ממוקם בגן ציבורי, שממוקם בקצה רחוב חיים בסוק. הגת הייתה בשימוש מהמאה ה-4 לפנה"ס עד המאה ה-2 לפנה"ס והיא מוגדרת כגת ציבורית משוכללת. הגת בנויה משלושה חלקים המרכיבים ריבוע, החלק הראשון היה מיועד לדריכת הענבים ממנו היה זורם התירוש לחלק הבא דרך מרזב קטן. בחלק השני היו מסננים את הפסולת והחלק השלישי נועד לניקוז כל התירוש. הגת התגלתה בחפירות שנעשו באזור בשנת 1965 על ידי הארכאולוג יעקב קפלן.
