Name: Kibbutz Hatzerim - The Barn
Description: The mixing plant was built in 1953. The barn (silo) was built in 1960 with a capacity of 300 tons of grains. Today the building is used to store and extract oil from jojoba seeds.

שם: קיבוץ חצרים - מכון תערובת והאסם
תיאור: מכון התערובת נבנה ב 1953. האסם ( סילו) נבנה ב 1960 עם קיבולת של 300 טון גרעינים. כיום משמש המבנה לאיחסון והפקת שמן מגרעיני החוחובה.
הערות: הקיבוץ הוקם במוצאי יום כיפור בשנת 1946 על אדמות קלטה כחלק מ־11 הנקודות, על ידי הכשרת הצופים ג'.במלחמת העצמאות היה הקבוץ נצור והקשר איתו נשמר באמצעות אלחוט ומטוס אוסטר אוטוקרט שהיה מביא אספקה. עמדה אחת מאותה תקופה עדיין נמצאת בו. בתחילת שנות החמישים נקלע הקיבוץ למשבר, בשל האדמות עליו ישב אשר נתגלו כמלוחות ולא מתאימות לחקלאות. לאחר דיונים רבים שכללו ניסיונות שכנוע של לוי אשכול שהגיע לקיבוץ, הוחלט להישאר במקום ולשטוף את האדמות. הפרשה ידועה בכינויה "משבר המלח".
