Македонски: Овој крст е првиот христијански симбол од Македонија што доживеал меѓународна афирмација како Македонски крст , за прв пат крстот бил прикажан на главната манастирска црква „Св. Богородица Елеуса“ во Вељушкиот Манастир. Македонскиот крст, познат и како Крстот од Вељуса претставува варијација на христијанскиот крст, воглавно поврзан со Македонија и е симбол на Македонската православна црква. Овој симбол всушност е раскошна двочленска плетеница со претстава на орнаментиран украс во форма на крст.крстот бил прикажан на главната манастирска црква „Св. Богородица Елеуса“ во Вељушкиот Манастир. Се знае дека црквата „Пресвета Богородица Елеуса“ е изградена во 1085 година и дека нејзин ктитор бил Емануил, тогашниот епископ струмички. Непознатиот мајстор го соѕидал крстот на фасадата со малечки црвени тули, така што тој во основата го има квадратот чии четири страни претставуваат основа на која е направен крст со страници со иста должина. |
