English: Ambon (11th-century) of Henry II, Holy Roman Emperor. Aachen Cathedral, Germany.
Deutsch: Kanzel König Heinrichs II. in der Chorhalle des Doms zu Aachen. Sie befand sich bis zur Erbauung des Chorhauses innerhalb des Oktogons und wurde dann an der Südwand im Bereich des ersten Jochs aufgestellt. Von den vier Evangelisten-Reliefs ist lediglich die Reliefplatte des Matthäus erhalten und dienete den übrigen Tafeln als Rekonstruktionsvorlage, Quelle: Herta Lepie, Georg Minkenberg in: Der Domschatz zu Aachen, 2010.
