Summary

[edit]
Description
English: 'Fakirs from the East' a 16mm film from the D.D. Teoli Jr. Small Gauge Film Archive. 16mm film rental companies started to use color coded leaders to see at a glance if the film was rewound upon return. Yellow or green leaders distinguished the 'head' or beginning of the film and the 'tail' or end of a film was usually coded by a red leader. But nothing was standardized. You will sometime see red leaders used for the film head as well.
