Description
Nederlands: Minister Blok van Buitenlandse Zaken bezocht de Caraïbische Koninkrijkslanden en Mexico van 29 april tot en met 4 mei.

In Sint Maarten zat hij het jaarlijkse Koninkrijksoverleg Buitenlandse Betrekkingen voor met de premiers van Aruba, Curaçao en Sint Maarten. Ook sprak hij met premier Romeo-Marlin en bezocht hij een politiebureau dat deels is hersteld na de verwoestende orkaan Irma.

In Curaçao sprak hij uitgebreid met premier Rhuggenaath. In Aruba voerde hij overleg met premier Wever-Croes en bezocht hij een marinierskazerne.

Vervolgens reisde Blok door naar Mexico, waar hij het nieuwe ambassadekantoor opende in Mexico-Stad. Hij voerde daarnaast gesprekken met zijn collega Ebrard, vice-minister van Buitenlandse Zaken Ventura en minister van Economische Zaken Colin. Ook ontmoette en sprak hij mensenrechtenverdedigers, op de Internationale Dag van de Persvrijheid.
