Summary[edit]

Description
English: 1913-03-20 - Charles de Fréminville: sketch of the view from his room on the 12th floor of the Belmont Hotel in New York during his trip to study the Taylor method in the United States. 1913-03-08 - Letter to his wife: "They came to pick me up by car to visit the Packard factory, which also produces more than 6,000 cars a year, which it sells as expensive as the most expensive Panhard cars and which are far from being as well made. All these people slavishly copied the parts that Arthur [KREBS] designed and executed them with the metals that I chose. Only the intervention of our Counsel [Panhard & Levassor] failed. [...] The only things that Americans do differently from us are the things that the Counsel has prevented us from doing, and those are the things that give them success." - 2001 - Voyages de Charles de Fréminville aux Etats-Unis : 1885-1898-1913-1919 (Yves Le Quesne).
