Description

This is the high powered, "Blower" Bentley. Not, actually, ever a winner at Le Mans, I've just discovered. Lots of Bentleys won at Le Mans, just no 4.5 liter supercharged versions. The supercharger made the 4 cylinder (1.125 l/cylinder!) quite powerful and was popular, but W. O. Bentley and the "Bentley Boys" actually did their winning in 3 liter, 4.5 liter non-supercharged and 6.5 liter cars. Now there's a subject I can research...
