Summary[edit]

Description The completely new 1507cc 4 cyl EIX Wyvern, the 2275cc EIP Velox and upmarket Cresta were built from 1951-57 replacing the LIX and LIP Vauxhalls. They received a facelift in 1955 with new bonnet and concave mesh grille replacing the solid chrome of the earlier cars, again in 1957 the grille got horizontal chrome bars. Not only were they built in England, but in by GMH Australia also, where they offered a 4-door sedan, a Coupe Utility and Vagabond 2-door convertible.
