Summary[edit]

Description
English: 1967 AMC Ambassador DPL. A full-size premium car built by American Motors Corporation (AMC). This is the top-of-the-line two-door hardtop (no B pillar) finished in Frost White with a black vinyl top and the standard bucket seat interior in red. It has the "custom" fabric upholstery and the standard center armrests in front and back. Powering this luxurious car is AMC's 343 cu in (5.6 L) high-compression 4-bbl V8 engine producing 280 hp with steering wheel column-shifted automatic. Options include air conditioning (it became part of standard equipment on all Ambassadors starting with the 1968 model year), AM/FM radio, and the "Turbocast" (styled) full wheel covers. Photographed at the May 2021 meeting of the Delaware Valley chapter of the American Motors Owners Association (AMO).
