Description
Deutsch: 24.07.1971 DDR 9202 [09623] Frauenstein: Burgruine Frauenstein (GMP: 50.804263,13.539590). Um 1200 kam es zum Bau einer Schutzburg durch die Markgrafen von Meißen (1272 genannt). Nach der Pfändung ihrer Herrschaft Hartenstein verlegen die Burggrafen von Meißen ihre Residenz um 1400 nach Frauenstein. 1473 gelangt sie in den Besitz der Familie von Schönberg, die dort von 1579 bis 1585 haus halten. Nach 1588 beginnt der Verfall der Burg. 1728 abgebrannt und seither Ruine. [F19710724A48.JPG]19710724105NR.JPG(c)Blobelt
