Summary[edit]

Description
English: 1972 AMC Javelin SST - a two-door hardtop (no B pillar) built by American Motors Corporation (AMC) and marketed in the "pony car" class. This muscle car is finished in blue with a blue interior. The 1972 model year Javelins featured an "egg crate" front grille design with a similar pattern repeated on the chrome overlay over the full-width taillights. This car has AMC's 401 cu in (6.6 L) V8 engine that was rated at 255 hp (190 kW) net with the more stringent emissions requirements. These photographs were taken during the 2017 American Motors Owners (AMO) convention that was held in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania. This show was organized by the Potomac Ramblers Automobile Club.
