Summary
[edit]Description1974 AMC Matador sedan in Golden Tan standard interior at Rambler Ranch 5of5.jpg |
English: 1974 AMC Matador four-door sedan. An "intermediate-size" car (by the standard of that time) built by American Motors Corporation (AMC). This base model car is finished in Golden Tan with the standard upholstery and bench seat interior. The interior of the 1974 models featured an all-new fully padded and safety-shaped dashboard.
The 1974 model year four-door sedans and wagons increased overall vehicle length and received new front and rear styling. The front fascia with a hood and grille featured a prominent central protrusion that followed the newly mandated bumpers with "no damage" at 5-mph impacts. Photographed at the Rambler Ranch collection -- located at 36370 Forest Trail, Elizabeth, CO 80107 -- URL link: https://www.ramblerranch.com -- that was part of the 2021 American Motors Owners (AMO) convention held in Colorado Springs, Colorado. |
