Description
English: Phuoc Tuy Province, South Vietnam. 1968-07-09. Members of 1st Battalion, The Royal Australian Regiment (1RAR), speak with tank and armoured personnel carrier (APC) crew members during Operation Blue Mountains. The operation was staged in south-east Phuoc Tuy Province and took members of 1RAR, C Squadron, 1st Armoured Regiment, A Squadron, 3rd Cavalry Regiment and 1st Field Squadron, Royal Australian Engineers (RAE), into the area of the Long Hai Hills. Note the APC (number 20A) in foreground and the Centurion tank (number 32B) in the background.
