Description
Deutsch: 16.01.2007 01277 Dresden-Striesen, Junghansstraße 1-3: Ernemannbau (GMP: 51.042036,13.797733). Der Kaufmann und Unternehmer Heinrich Ernemann (1850-1928) produzierte erfolgreich Kameras. 1916 begann er, das Gebäude errichten zu lassen. Nach dem Zusammenschluß der Ernemann-Werke mit anderen Kamerafirmen beherbergte das Haus ab 1926 die Zeiss Ikon AG und von 1964 bis 1990 den VEB Pentcon Dresden. Hier bauten sie die Fotoapparate und entwickelten modernste Elektronik, um die Bilder kontrastreich, scharf und schnell auf dem Film belichten zu können. Sie bereiteten das digitale Zeitalter vor, das sie selbst nicht mehr erleben durften. Für sie ging nach der "Wende" die Belichtungszeit zu Ende. Leider. Seit 1992 ist das Industriedenkmal im Besitz der Stadt. Im Haus befinden sich jetzt die "Technischen Sammlungen der Stadt Dresden". Foyer am Hauseingang.
