Deutsch: 23.09.2007 01127 Dresden-Leipziger Vorstadt: Leipziger Straße 58 / Ecke Moritzburger Straße (GMP: 51.073092,13.72523). Beliebter Treffpunkt im historischen Stadteil Neudorf war einst der Gasthof "Stadt Bremen" (im Bild) an der Einmündung Leipziger / Moritzburger Straße. Die Gaststätte ging auf den alten Neudorfer Gasthof zurück und wurde bis Anfang der Zwanziger Jahre als Vergnügungslokal mit Ballsaal genutzt. Ab 1929 gab es hier das Kino "Astoria"; nach 1990 das lateinamerikanische Kulturzentrum "Casa Latina" ('Casalatin').

Wo sich der Dresdner Stadtteil "Neudorf" befindet, ist kaum noch bekannt. Verschwunden sind heute fast alle Häuschen der kleinen Siedlung, welche sich einst entlang der heutigen Moritzburger Straße zog. Die Geschichte von Neudorf begann am 15.03.1546, als der sächsische Herzog Moritz eine Verfügung zur Umsiedlung von 29 Familien aus Altendresden - der heutigen Neustadt - erließ. Grund war der Ausbau der rechtselbischen Stadtbefestigung. Als Entschädigung erhielten die Betroffenen Flächen in der Nähe des Bischofsweges nordwestlich der Stadt sowie die Nutzungsrechte am Neudorfer Werder, einer ehemaligen Elbinsel am Südende der Moritzburger Straße. Innerhalb weniger Jahre entstand ein Straßendorf mit kleinen bäuerlichen Anwesen.
