Deutsch: 24.02.2008 01157 Dresden-Friedrichstadt/Cotta, Flügelweg 20: Rangierstellwerk 8 (R8). Der Stellwerkturm (GMP: 51.058384,13.688697) am oberen Ende des Ablaufberges vom
Rangierbahnhof Dresden-Friedrichstadt ist typische DDR-Moderne der 1960er Jahre (08/1960). Die oberste Etage des 7-geschossigen Gebäudes ist voll verglast und gewährte dem Stellwerkpersonal gute Sicht auf die Gleisanlagen. Darunter lag eine Techniketage. Noch ein Geschoß tiefer befanden sich einzelne Spezialwerkstätten für die Instandhaltung und Reparatur. In den unteren Geschossen waren Sozial- und Umkleideräume. Zum Zeitpunkt des Fotos 2008 ist das Gebäude leerstehend und ungenutzt. 2009 wurde der Ablaufberg eingestellt. Danach waren verschiedene Nutzungen im Ablaufstellwerk. 2014 konnte man am Turm den Schriftzug "KLEMM INGENIEURE GmbH & co. KG" lesen. 2023 findet man hier im Internet "die dresdner location BLICK WEIT". Im Hintergrund das Dach vom Haltepunkt Dresden-Cotta (GMP: 51.058720,13.688870).
