| Description |
Deutsch: 23.10.2008 01445 Radebeul-Oberlößnitz: Retzschhaus (GMP: 51.110666,13.667029), historisches Weingut, Weinbergstraße 20. Benannt nach dem Maler und Professor der Dresdner Kunstakademie Friedrich Moritz Retzsch (1779-1857) der ab 1828 hier lebte und auch Weinbau betrieb. Bekanntheit erlangte er durch Illustrationen zu Goethes FAUST und Shakespeares Werken sowie durch den "Winzerzug" von 1840. Das Alter des Gebäudes verrät die Wetterfahne des turmartigen Anbaus auf der Südseite. Auf ihr ist die Jahreszahl 1649 vermerkt. Die Wetterfahne stammt von einem kleinen, nur eingeschossigen Gebäude mit Satteldach, das zu Beginn des 18. Jahrhunderts um zwei Fensterachsen erweitert und aufgestockt wurde. Der Anbau auf der Südseite, der noch heute das Bild des Weinberg-
hauses bestimmt, kam 1813 hinzu. Es folgte vor 1837 die Umkleidung der Hof- und Giebelseiten durch einen offenen Laubengang, der heute größtenteils zugesetzt ist. 2002 bis 2006 wurde das Gebäude einer umfassenden Sanierung unterzogen. Dabei legten Kerstin Seifert und Michael Tichatschke die Fachwerkkonstruktion des straßenseitigen Anbaus frei. Das Obergeschoss ist heute mit einer dunkelrot gestrichenen Holzverkleidung versehen.
