Deutsch: 10.06.2012 02694 Malschwitz, Dorfplatz 26: Herrenhaus Niedermalschwitz (GMP: 51.238696,14.518974). Gleich zwei Rittergüter teilten sich die Ländereien um Malschwitz. Die
Rittergüter Ober- und Niedermalschwitz blieben bis 1945 in rechtlicher Hinsicht getrennt, obwohl sie seit 1690 in einer Hand vereint waren. Hans Adolph von Metzradt verkaufte beide Güter 1773 an den Grafen Peter von Riaucour. Die Grafenfamilie wohnte in Gaußig, kam aber gelegentlich auch nach Malschwitz und Guttau. Das barocke Herrenhaus Niedermalschwitz nördlich der Kirche ist vermutlich in der Mitte des 18. Jahrhunderts unter der Adelsfamilie von Metzradt entstanden. Hier befand sich auch eine katholische Hauskapelle mit Marienaltar. Der gesamte Besitz der Grafenfamilie wurde 1945 enteignet. Im Herrenhaus brachte man Gemeindeverwaltung, Sparkasse, Kindergarten und Bücherei unter. Heute befindet sich hier der Verwaltungssitz der Gemeinde Malschwitz.
