Description

Melanoleuca evenosa (Sacc.) Konrad

Image location: Evergreen Rd., Stanislaus National Forest, Tuolumne Co., California, USA

Caps up to 10 cm across. Spore print white, amyloid in Melzers. Spores ~ 8 X 5 microns and warted. Cheilocystidia and Pleurocystidia present. Cheilocystidia lageniform, upper portion narrow and covered with crystals.
