Summary[edit]
| Description |
English: A gentle high tide lapping the foot of the sea wall north of Dawlish station shows how much this has changed recently. Until the storms of February 2014 breached the wall, the footpath along this section was at the level of the weed-covered stones. In 2015 it was reopened with the footpath now at track level as on other sections of the wall. The wall is carried upwards by concrete panels and is infilled with poured concrete to give anew footpath. Steps have been provided to replace the ramps which used to give access to this part of the beach. |
