Nymph of the masked hunter (Reduvius personatus), Assassin bug family (Reduviidae), subfamily Reduviinae. Came inside the house from the garage, Cottonwood Heights, Utah. The nymphs excrete a sticky substance on their surface that accumulate all the dust and dirt. I wonder if I can use them instead of the vacuum cleaner. My family will probably disagree... |
