English: The 2016 GOES-R/JPSS OCONUS (Outside the Contiguous United States) Satellite Proving Ground technical meeting was held June 27‒30 at the University of Hawaii in Honolulu. The meeting assessed the GOES-R and JPSS science portfolios and NOAA’s operational objectives for the satellites, identifying priorities as they pertain to Alaska, Hawaii, and U.S. territories in the Pacific Ocean.
