Description
Português: O assassinato da vereadora Marielle Franco, em março de 2018, gerou grande repercussão e comoção nacional, o que motivou diversas manifestações pelo país. Dentro desse contexto, foi feita uma homenagem à vereadora, trocando informalmente o nome de uma placa de rua por outra com seu nome. Em outubro do mesmo ano, em um clima de tensão política que atravessa o país, um grupo extremista propositalmente quebrou essa placa de homenagem a Marielle. A intervenção Mil Placas para Marielle foi um ato organizado pelo Site Sensacionalista contra essa ação. A intervenção consistiu em distribuir diversas novas placas com o nome da vereadora, próximo ao local onde a primeira foi colocada e destruída. Os participantes, após a distribuição, deveriam levantar as placas para que fosse feita uma foto. Houve o cuidado para que nenhum participante sofresse consequências pelo ato, devido à repercussão do evento e o momento político que o país atravessa.
