Description

Paramecia, slide No. 17, Celestron set #44410. The one on the left is about 0.14 mm long.

American Optical H10 microscope, AO 45/.66 Achromat objective, trinocular port, prime focus, Nikon V1, generic C-mount adapter, ISO 100, 1/125 second for each of 13 images stacked with CombineZP. One division manual steps on fine focus knob between images. White balance and d-lighting applied in Capture NX-D before converting from RAW to jpg. GIMP used for sharpening, contrast adjustments, and cloning out of distracting artifacts. Oblique illumination provided by a 3/4 mask in condenser filter holder.
