Description
English: An LC-130 approaches Williams Air Field at McMurdo Station. The "L" designation indicates there are skis on the plane, while the "C" means it is a cargo plane. The New York Air National Guard flies and maintains these aircraft solely for the National Science Foundation's Office of Polar Programs work in both Greenland and Antarctica.
