Deutsch: 19.09.2019 01219 Dresden: Palais im Großen Garten (GMP: 51.037808,13.762865). Es gehört zu den schönsten Schöpfungen des sächsischen Barock. Errichtet von 1678-1683 nach Plänen von Oberlandbaumeister Johann Georg Starcke. Den reichen plastischen Schmuck Schufen J. und C. M. Süssner, A. C. Buchau, C. M. Dietze und G. Heermann. Das Palais im Großen Garten ist nie als Wohnsitz gedacht gewesen, sondern steht als Lusthaus ("maison de plaisance") inmitten einer festlichen Gartenlandschaft. Im II. Weltkrieg stark beschädigt. 1964 erhielt die Ruine eine Stahldachkonstruktion. Die denkmalgerechte Wiederherstellung der Sandsteinfassaden konnte erst 2001 beendet werden. 2002 wurde das Palais wieder der Öffentlichkeit zugänglich gemacht. Sicht von Südosten.
