Deutsch: 09.04.2023 01189 Dresden-Gittersee, Karlsruher Straße 83: Gasthof Gittersee (GMP: 51.010950,13.693500): Der Gasthof von Gittersee entstand um 1890 als Konzert- und Ballhaus und erhielt dabei den noch heute vorhandenen Saal, der über 800 Plätze bot. Während des Zweiten Weltkrieges wurden die Räume als Wohnlager des Döhlener Gußstahlwerkes genutzt. Nach 1945 diente dieser Saal als erste Spielstätte der neu gegründeten "Volksoper", aus der 1950 die Landesbühnen Sachsen hervorgingen. Bereits am 12. August 1945 fand hier erstmals ein festliches Opernkonzert statt, am 24, November die erste Nachkriegsaufführung der Oper "Der Bajazzo". 1950 verlegte das Theater seinen Stammsitz nach Radebeul. Der Gasthof wurde daraufhin in ein Klubhaus der Gewerkschaften umgewandelt. Später befand sich hier die HO-Gaststätte "Friedenswacht", während der Saal nur noch Lagerzwecken diente. Zeitweise wurden die Räumlichkeiten auch als Tonstudio des DEFA-Studios für Trickfilme sowie für die Schulspeisung der nahegelegenen 80. POS genutzt. Heute befindet sich im ehemaligen Saal ein Lager des Buchhandels. Das Hauptgebäude wurde nach 1990 saniert. [SAM6298.JPG]20230409105DR.JPG(c)Blobelt |
