Description
Deutsch: 17.03.2024 01156 Dresden-Merbitz: Weinberg mit Mauer und Portal (GMP: 51.064770,13.638720) am Ockerwitzer Weg südöstlich von Merbitz. Nur 200 m entfernt (Richtung Merbitz) steht die Skulptur des Heiligen Urban von Langre, der im 4. Jahrhundert Bischof in der gleichnamigen französischen Stadt an der Marne gewesen ist. Er gilt als Schutzpatron der Winzer und wird mit einer Traube oder Rebe dargestellt. Diese Skulptur dient aber nicht der Anbetung. Anhand seiner Geschichte sollen die Besucher der Zschonergrundes (in den der Weg nach rechts führt) auf die 900-jährige Weinbautradition in den linkselbischen Tälern zwischen Dresden und Meißen hingewiesen werden.
