English: The Cuyahoga Valley National Park (CVNP) has the Cuyahoga Valley Railroad system that travels from Cleveland to Akron. This photo shows the Brecksville Train Depot with a visiting Steam Locomotive approaching. The Steam Locomotive is the 765 Nickel Plate Road visiting from the Fort Wayne Railroad Historical Society the last two weekends of September 2018. The No. 765 has 14 wheels, stands 15 feet tall, weighs 404 tons, and with 4,500 horsepower will travel at over 70 miles per hour. Restored in 1974 and 1963. |
