Description
English: 330-PS-8740 (USN 659660): Leaving its launcher, the Navy’s latest acoustic-homing torpedo, the MK 32, starts the relentless search for its target. Through its homing capabilities, the torpedo is able to track down and sink any type of submarine. The MK32 is capable of tracking down and sinking submarines. In addition to homing capabilities, its ease of launching makes it a readily adaptable weapon. The MK32 does not have to be fired from a torpedo tube but is merely tossed over the side of a ship from an open launcher. Once in the water, its homing characteristics guide it to the target. Photograph released January 15, 1968. (12/16/2014).
