Description
English: .338 Lapua Magnum - .338/416
  • Origin: United States
  • Manufaturer: US Research Armament Company 1983 development for US Navy long range sniping trials.
  • Initially a conversion of the .416 Rigby and subsequently mfrd by Lapua, Finland.
  • This unmarked version was one of those originally trialled by 22 SAS.
  • Adopted in UK service for use in the L115A1 sniping rifle.
