White paper with typed black text

April 20, 1972 Dr. M. Ney Williams, Jr. 3930 Rhymes Place Jackson, Mississippi 39211 Dear Dr. Williams: I am very sorry to have missed you and Mr. Evans on your recent visit. If there is any matter that you were not able to have clarified by Mr. Harrison, I would like to know. He did mention your concern about the old shed on r. Weaver’s property. We will do our utmost work with Mr. Reaver to get this building removed by October 1973. Enclosed is a letter to Mr. DeLue concerning several questions that have arose relative to the monument; these should not cause any concern. We would like to have an official letter from the Commission acknowledging and approving the proposed monument’s design, legend, and plot layout so we may forward same to the Director of the Northeast Region for his review and action. We have a photocopy of the design, and drawings of the granite pedestal and foundation, legend, and plot layout from the Codori Memorials. Sincerely yours, Jerry L. Schober Superintendent Enclosure cc: Mr. Donald DeLue TJHarrison : bd 4/20/72
