Summary[edit]

Description
English: Ivory box with combination lock, used as a reliquary casket. Ivory with bronze furnishings. The combination lock is made of gilded brass with Arab letters. Sicily or Mediterranean (with Arab influences), ca.1200. In 1651 the relics of Saint Amor were placed in this box. Treasury of Saint Servatius Basilica, Maastricht, Netherlands.
