Summary[edit]

Description Dassault Mirage IIIO A3-36 of 75 Squadron RAAF on display at the Aviation Heritage Centre, Darwin prior to its undercarriage being lowered. This aircraft was recovered from the mud flats off Nightcliff following its pilotless crash landing in May 1985. The pilot Flying Officer John Quaife had ejected when the aircraft flamed out on its approach to Darwin airport.
