Original Image Name: Piciwiki_israel_88213_20220705_103845.jpg Notes: תל-אשר נמצאת בשוליו הצפון מזרחיים של מושב שדה ורבורג, צפונית לעיר כפר-סבא.החווה נקראת על שמו של איש העסקים אשר פירס (1867-1936) שנולד בלטביה היגר - בהיותו בן 79 - לקנדה ושם הפך לאיש עסקים מצליח בתחום תעשיית הפרוות. בהמשך התקרב אל התנועה הציונית ואל מנהיגיה אך מעולם לא היה חבר בה. נוצר קשר אמיץ עם חיים וייצמן וארתור רופין. הוא רכש עם שותפים יותר מ 750 דונם. כ-158 דונם נרכשו מהכפרים הערביים ששכנו בסביבה: מיסכה (כפר שאיננו קיים עוד) וטירה. ה"הגנה" קיימה במקום פגישות ,אימונים וסליקים(נורית שטרנברג)
