Original Image Name: Piciwiki_israel_88449_20210502_114848.jpg Notes: כשהעביר הברון את מושבותיו לניהול יק"א ( בשנת 1900 ), קיבל ר' אלתר שורץ מבנה בן קומה אחת ועליו בנה קומה שניה והפכו לבית מלון בסיוע הלוואה שקיבל לצורך כך מהפקידות. המלון הנחשב לבית המלון הראשון בגליל, נפתח בשנת 1901.קומתו העליונה של המלון כללה 5 חדרים לשלושה – ארבעה אורחים כל אחד, וחדר אירועים קטן. המטבח וחדר האוכל היו בקומת הקרקע. בקומה זו גרו גם בני משפחת שורץ.במלון התארחו אישים רבים ובינהם יוסף טרומפלדור שהתארח בו שבוע ימים בדרכו לתל חי והרבנים קוק וזוננפלד בעת שערכו את מסעם המפורסם למושבות
