Original Image Name: Piciwiki_israel_89058__DSC0370.jpg Notes: לאורכה של "דרך חווארים", שנפרצה לפני שנים אחדות, יש נקודות תצפית יפות על ערוצו של נחל הערבה והגבול הירדני. המראה המתגלה לפתע בדמות עין התכלת של המאגרים העונתיים מרשים ביותר.העובדה המדהימה היא שבמקום מגדלים תוצרת חקלאית רבה ואיכותית של ירקות ופרחים המיוצאים לחו"ל. ערוצו הרחב של נחל הערבה מתחתר בסלע פריך ורך הקרוי חוואר הלשון. לפי כשלושה מיליון שנים שימש האזור כגבולה הדרומי של ימה ארוכה וצרה, שנקראה "ימת הלשון" ונמשכה מצפון הכנרת ועד חצבה.
