Summary[edit]

Description
English: Loading for a long journey. In the station yard at Alresford, on the Mid-Hants. Railway, we see a railway carriage No. 9392, a Mk2 BSO (Brake Second Open) being hauled from the rails up on to the trailer of a road vehicle, where it will be chained down. The Tractor Unit will then hitch to the front of the trailer, (furthest from camera) and lift that end before reversing the whole ensemble into the car-park prior to setting off up Station Road to the High Street, where it will continue its journey to Buckfastleigh in South Devon.
