הערות: אירוע הנפת הדגל התרחש ב-1 בינואר 1891 כאשר חברי המושבה התכנסו ליד עץ התות, שליד הבית המשותף, כדי לחגוג אירועים שביניהם חנוכת הבית המשותף, הנחת אבני הפינה לבית מיכאל הלפרין ולמושבת הפועלים שיזם ועוד בזמן ההתכנסות פרץ הלפרין עם שערות ארוכות וזקן רכוב על סוס לרחבה בידו האחת החזיק חרב ובשנייה והניף דגל עם 2 פסים כחולים, מגן דוד ואת הכתובת "נס ציונה" באותיות זהב. לפי גרסת מייסדי נס ציונה הייתה זו הפעם הראשונה שהונף דגל ישראל ולכן גם נקראה המושבה החדשה נס ציונה.
