Description

A U.S. Marine Corps Douglas A-4C Skyhawk (BuNo 147809) from Headquarters and Maintenance Squadron 15 (H&MS-15) Det.N "Angels" on the flight deck of the aircraft carrier USS Hornet (CVS-12). H&MS-15 Det.N was assigned to Carrier Anti-Submarine Air Group 57 (CVSG-57) aboard the Hornet for a deployment to the Western Pacific and Vietnam from 12 August 1965 to 23 March 1966.

The A-4C was nicknamed "Polly Adler" during this deployment.
