Description Three U.S. Navy Grumman A-6E Intruder aircraft (BuNo 155592, 155712, 157002) from Attack Squadron VA-34 Blue Blasters fly formation over the French countryside. VA-34 performed the "Missing Man" formation for 50th anniversary of D-Day commemoration ceremonies. VA-34 was assigned to Carrier Air Wing 7 (CVW-7) aboard the aircraft carrier USS George Washington (CVN-73) for a deployment to the Mediterranean Sea from 20 May to 17 November 1994.
