| Description |
English: A23 (T) The new alignment was opened in the 1990s to bypass the villages of Albourne and Sayers Common where the road had previously been dualled from the north of Brighton until reverting to a single carriageway south of the Muddleswood Crossroads causing plenty of traffic particularly at the T junctions with the B2116. The slip road to the right enables traffic to join the southbound carriageway, those wishing to join the northbound carriageway need to head through Albourne and Sayers Common and join north of there. |
