Summary[edit]

Description The commanding officer of the U.S. Naval Air Station Moffett Field, California (USA), opens the valve of the (then) new high speed refueling system of the air station. The receiving aircraft is a Douglas A4D-1 Skyhawk from All-Weather Fighter Squadron VF(AW)-3 Blue Nemesis, piloted by Cdr. C.G. Anderson. The JP-4 fuel was pumped from a 400,000 litre tank at 1,500 litres per minute.
